1. Overview
Kaonami ("we", "us", "our") operates a food ordering and delivery platform connecting Customers, Vendors, and Riders. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
2. Accounts
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. Vendor and Rider accounts require admin approval before they can transact on the platform.
3. Orders and Payments
Prices, delivery fees, and availability are set by Vendors and may change at any time. Payment is processed through the payment method you select at checkout, including Cash on Delivery where offered. Orders may be cancelled by the Customer, Vendor, or Rider under the conditions described elsewhere in the app.
4. Vendor Responsibilities
Vendors are responsible for the accuracy of their menu, pricing, food safety, and timely preparation of orders. Kaonami is not responsible for the quality of food prepared by Vendors.
5. Rider Responsibilities
Riders are responsible for safe and timely delivery of orders, and for correctly handling Cash on Delivery collections where applicable.
6. Referrals and Credits
Referral bonuses and store credit are promotional and may be modified, paused, or discontinued at any time. Credit has no cash value and cannot be transferred or withdrawn.
7. Account Suspension
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform.
8. App Permissions
The Kaonami mobile app may request the following device permissions to support its features. Each is used only for the purpose described, and none are required to install or open the app — you can decline any of them and grant them later from your device settings if you change your mind.
Location. Used to pin your delivery address, help Vendors set their store location and delivery radius, and let Riders share their live location with Customers and Vendors while actively delivering an order. Location access is only used while the app is open in the foreground.
Camera and Photos. Used when uploading images — for example, a Vendor's store logo or menu item photos. You choose whether to take a new photo or select an existing one; we don't access your camera or photo library at any other time.
Notifications. Used to alert you about order status updates, delivery progress, and other account activity relevant to your role. You can turn notifications off at any time from your device settings without affecting your ability to use the app.
9. Limitation of Liability
Kaonami is provided "as is". We aren't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the platform, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Kaonami after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
